Notice on the Selection and Commendation of the Ninth National Role Models of Morality

Notice on the Selection and Commendation of the Ninth National Role Models of Morality

Since 2007, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Office for Spiritual Civilization of the CPC Central Committee, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Central Committee, the All-China Women’s Federation, and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission have jointly organized a national selection and commendation event for moral role models every two years. These initiatives have vigorously promoted and practiced the core socialist values, fully leveraged the exemplary and leading role of moral role models, carried forward traditional Chinese virtues, fostered new trends and a fresh ethos for the times, and continuously raised the ideological awareness, moral standards, and civilizational qualities of the people. The goal is to encourage everyone to become practitioners of noble morality, guardians of civilized customs, and creators of a better life, thereby cultivating a robust social atmosphere characterized by reverence for virtue and goodness, emulation of the virtuous, and the universal application of moral conduct. With the approval of leading comrades of the CPC Central Committee, we are now launching the ninth national selection and commendation event for moral role models. The relevant details are hereby notified as follows.
